Samantha reached out to me via email to collaborate on an in home maternity session. My sister had recommended me to her through a Facebook group. She let me know that she was wanting to do something a little less mainstream, since standard sessions did not fit her, or her husbands, personality. After some brain storming, we came up with some awesome ideas. Most of this session was shot with one AB1600 bounced off the ceiling. To check out the cool images we captured, click below!

Well, it's that time again! Another throw back Thursday post. This time, I'm revisiting a session I did with my best friend, Lauren. Years ago, she had told me that she never had Senior pictures taken. Her mom always wanted them, but she just wasn't into at the time. Fast forward 3 years later, and her and I decided to head downtown and take some pictures, just for fun. Needless to say, this is the closest to a senior portrait session Lauren had, and her mom and dad loved them.

For the most part, I used this session to play around with lighting, and posing. We had a good time, and Lauren's parents finally got pictures.

Back when I shot Apollo's Daughter at Fubar, I had also reached out to the other bands asking if they'd like any photos taken, as well. Treading Oceans let me know they were interested in having some promos and live shots done, so we set up a schedule to get them taken. I've worked with their guitarist, Evan, before, so I knew they would be a fun band to photograph.
