A few months back, Nichole and Sarah had us capture a gender reveal session for them. After little Evi was welcomed to the world, they asked us to join them in their home for a newborn lifestyle session. We were so honored to capture their newly growing family!

Caitlin and Tony were so photogenic, it was easy to capture their personalities on camera. I was lucky enough to have another photographer, Beth of EEI Photography, refer them to me. Beth didn't have their wedding date available, so she gave Caitlin my contact information. They had already had engagement photographs taken by Beth, but their wedding package included a complimentary engagement session. Caitlin let me know they wanted to do something near water, to get a different feel than their previous photographs. Luckily, I knew the perfect riverfront access. We met up before sunset, and Caitlin and Tony were instantly comfortable in front of the camera. We had so much fun shooting, and I cannot wait for their wedding, which is today! So congratulations Caitlin and Tony! Thank you so much for allowing us to be involved in your amazing ceremony! Click below to see more images of this cute couple. Samantha reached out to me via email to collaborate on an in home maternity session. My sister had recommended me to her through a Facebook group. She let me know that she was wanting to do something a little less mainstream, since standard sessions did not fit her, or her husbands, personality. After some brain storming, we came up with some awesome ideas. Most of this session was shot with one AB1600 bounced off the ceiling. To check out the cool images we captured, click below!
Well, it's that time again! Another throw back Thursday post. This time, I'm revisiting a session I did with my best friend, Lauren. Years ago, she had told me that she never had Senior pictures taken. Her mom always wanted them, but she just wasn't into at the time. Fast forward 3 years later, and her and I decided to head downtown and take some pictures, just for fun. Needless to say, this is the closest to a senior portrait session Lauren had, and her mom and dad loved them. For the most part, I used this session to play around with lighting, and posing. We had a good time, and Lauren's parents finally got pictures. To see more pictures from the session, click below! Joe has been a long time friend of mine. He was originally in the band Shall We Dance, who I have blogged about shooting before and you can check that out here. When he and Stacy got engaged, they reached out to me about shooting their wedding. He let me know that Stacy loved my work, and wanted to hire us to shoot their wedding. I was super excited to do so! Joe and Stacy are awesome people, and their wedding was super fun. They had their ceremony and reception at the Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentzville, Mo. It was supposed to rain, so I had prepared for the worst with purchasing umbrellas and rain gear for my equipment. Luckily, the rain did not happen, and we were graced witha gorgeous day. Check out some shots from the day below! :) |
